
Section 3 contains the interesting bits, and I've pasted it below so you can see what you're getting in to. When you install it, you will see not one, but two license agreements, the second one containing all the fine print specific to the Web Edition.
You can download the Web Edition from here. And it's not a "free embedded OEM edition" either. In other words, it's not a "free client server edition". It's called the "Web Edition" for a reason, however: all end user interactions must originate from a web browser.
MobiLink is included, and so is UltraLite. Following, the User will be able to operate off the new SQL Anywhere server.The free "Web Edition" of SQL Anywhere 11 is a pretty good deal: The User will be prompted whether ClearQuest is to physically move the database to the new location. Make sure that the database server name is the new server service name. Replace the old location to the new location. Click "Properties" and view the properties of the user database. It will now have to be associated with the new server service. Select the User database that is still associated with the "old" server. The Database properties window will open up. Without checking out a schema, select "Database" from the top menu and choose "Database Properties". Input the new information in the displayed blank boxes, making sure that the new database server name is the NEW service created in Step 2 then select NextĪt this point, the database should have been successfully moved and the User should be free to login to the ClearQuest Designer to move the User databases.
Verify that the information in the grayed-out at the top of the box is the database to be moved.
